Be Warned, this property advertises a private pool and hot tub, this is incorrect as the facilities are actually at a near by hotel for all guests, not private. I hate company's that falsely advertise things to gain attention, and they charge rediculas prices for a holiday home with neither a sauna,gym,private pool or hot tub, I just nearly booked this because I noticed a **private pool** however after reading questions from others I've since realised this is false information.

Loved this place, private, relaxing stunning views and location. 5 bedrooms 5 bathrooms, through dining kitchen room, lounge with realistic gas fire, TV and games. We would definitely love to stay again. Built 1860 by Joseph Paxton (famous for the Chatsworth Gardens amongst other things). Free entrance to the Spa Hotel Swimming Pool, Spa and Gymn which was about a 2 minute walk uphill from the chalet. Children can use the swimming pool and large jacuzzi pool, over 16's the spa. Beautiful and thoughtful Welcome Hamper. Could have done with larger Shiwer Gel/Shampoo Bottles. Accessibility: steep flight of steps into the building. Two bedrooms on the 1st floor which is the entrance floor. The family bathroom is a wet room. Guest Guidebook has a series of videos which are well worth watching, particularly finding the road entrance which is easily missed! Fine once we'd clicked. Carparking: there is room gor 2 cars in the drive and for two on the road alongside the Chalet. The footbridge takes you straight into the main shopping area in Scarborough between about 5-10 minutes.

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely house. The views are spectacular. The well equipped open plan family kitchen with dining and relaxing area is spacious and perfect for our whole family of 10 to get together. The bedrooms and sitting room are sumptuously decorated, with some original fixtures, in keeping with its grade 2 listed status. This is the perfect place for a very special stay. Thank you to Amy.
