Visited the spa on the weekend, the spa is incredibly small and they had a lot of people there during our session so everyone was kind of hanging around waiting for some time waiting for other people to finish so you could use the facilities. The hot tub outside was absolutely freezing and half the jets weren't working either? Inside the spa area was quite cold so using the "experience showers" was an absolute no cus the water for that was freezing too. You can't use the black out nap/ relaxation room unless you have a treatment? Went to sit and have our glass of prosecco included in the package and the lounge area was really busy and the staff were quite rude and seemed slightly confused as to why we were there? All in all not worth £55 tbh as you would probably get a similar experience just going to a local gym that had a sauna and steam room, plus they'd probably have a working warm jacuzzi?

Very disappointing. Visited the bar for lunch with a £100 voucher that we received for our wedding. Checked on the way in that we would be able to redeem a portion of the voucher on lunch and receive the remaining value back as another voucher. Enjoyed a lunch worth £60 (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) only to be told afterwards that we wouldn’t receive any of the remaining £40 back and that we should have spend the full value in one sitting .. despite specifically checking that this was not the case when we arrived. We were then told that we would not even be able to put the £40 towards someone else’s bill. No reason as to why not. Told we could either lose the £40 or pay the £60 without using the voucher and come back again to spend the full £100. Unfortunately the bar is not very an inviting space for lunch unless you are attending a business meeting and the service was very poor in parts, waiting more than 15 minutes for the bill as an example. Given that we did not want to return we were instead given an £11 bottle of wine as a gesture of ‘goodwill’. Have enjoyed much nicer lunch experiences at much fairer cost. Absolutely no plans to return.
