Never been before found it unusual. Liked the atmosphere it was calm and friendly. We arrived with 3 dogs and were made welcome and given a table with plenty of room for all of us. We had a lunch which was good. Then to my surprise we were allowed to visit the shop even with our pooches! Found the shop very interesting something for everyone, certainly revisit especially when I need to buy gifts lots of unusual things on offer.

Had the best coffee I’ve ever had in England. And I highly recommend the cakes especially the carrot cake. The shop has a fantastic selection of hand creams and soaps et cetera. Perfect if you want to pick up a birthday gift for somebody.

Having once patronised the place most agreeably when even before it was the Meze and then the Warwick Arms, and then seen it change into a Stationers with a 'Soap Bar' my scepticism and derision was boundless. Oh, foolish me. This is quite an upmarket café/Stationary shop, with many original items for sale. Although definitely ultrafeminine in concept (on the day I was the only male in the place and the toiletries, cards and other items for sale, all are biased toward the lady of the house) I still found plenty of items I wanted to, and did buy.
