Just visited Snake Catcher , ordered food. After an hour asked if they had forgotten us, staff said there was an hours wait and it shouldn’t be long. 3 pints later no food, asked them to check, yep food would not be long!! Hour half later, checked , food would still be a while. Two tables served before us !! Just needed communication . couldn’t cope with another pint, asked, was told still long wait, kitchens closed . I understand they were busy, but two tables served who ordered a lot later than us, only wanted baked potato and a sandwich and chips. Feeling quite drunk and starving. They gave me my money bk but still hungry and told it could take 3 days for my money bk !!!

Nice back garden that we didn't find the first time, with a garden bar. Generous portions, the cod and chips could probably be shared! None of us could finish what was presented, perfect presentation, lovely taste, would be nice to have a smaller appetite option. Great service, proper pub👍
