After being let down by a few other companies, This very in demand team kept me informed all way through the long summer wait. It was worth it! I now have a working solar system, I now understand how it is meant to work and why. Broken part fixed with no inflated extras, just straightforward and clear explanation. All way through the work they kept me informed of what they were doing and why. Photos in advance so no surprises when they arrived. If you are looking for a company who are knowledgeable and take care in what they are doing then I would suggest you start here first. I would like to think I will recoup my servicing costs in energy savings very quickly given current economic climate!

Christoph, Giles and Sharon were amazing. From start to finish they were contactable, polite and knowledgeable. They fixed visits to analyse the previously botched job, obtained the correct parts, did a total reinstallation, cleaned up afterwards and later did a service check. We immediately booked them to install a second system on another building and that too has been very satisfactory throughout. Very reasonable prices too. Totally recommend for any solar hot water install or repair. Many thanks guys!

This company has two websites. The one I found, solarrepairs.co.uk, does not indicate that they only work in a limited area around St Albans. Not knowing this, I then contacted them only to be told " we're in London, you'll have to find someone local. Cheers" before hanging up without a further word. I suggest they rectify this, since they're wasting my time as well as their own. And they won't be tempted to offend people by being so abrupt.

I called several companies to enquire about how they would operate a service on my existing solar panels. The quality of responses I got were really poor. Most companies didn't even call back. However, The Small Solar Company Ltd were fantastic. My initial exchange of emails was with Sharon Harris. She was fab! She managed to get Giles on the phone to me who took plenty of time out to explain everything. We booked the date in and Giles attended spot on time. He was equally amazing. Very professional. The best thing was that he explained my entire system to me. My system was 10 years old and I really didn't know much about it - I do now! Thank you to all the team at The Small Solar Company.

I moved into a property that had a broken solar thermal system, and I had a hard time finding a company who could service the system as solar engineers are so busy at the time of writing. Luckily The Small Solar Company was able to help. Christoph was excellent, very professional and knowledgable. He had some difficulties clearing a bad blockage in my system at first but was able to rectify the problem and got me up and running. He took the time to fully explain the solar thermal system that I have and how best to use it which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend The Small Solar Company to all.

Although I was outside of their service area, Giles gave me some really helpful advice that enabled me to get my system up and working again without needing an engineer to come on-site.
