The food was quite nice but the service was very slow and very poor Food & drinks: There was a very long queue at the bar when we arrived and there was only 1 person serving so we decided to take our seat in the restaurant which we had a table booked for lunch we decided we might be served quicker than waiting in a.huge queue at the bar so first impression not.good

Three generations of our family enjoyed spending time together in the spacious, relaxing garden. We came here twice for drinks and dinner during our short stay in Upper Slaughter. The meals were nicely prepared and flavourful. Too full for dessert. The one mile after dinner walk was just right.

Called into The Slaughters Inn today and the staff were really unfriendly and pretentious. We only wanted a drink, beer and glass of wine £18 disgusting. Waiting staff made us feel under pressure to finish our drinks to free up the table for people that wanted to eat there. Won't be going back !!!!
