We've been visiting Scaife Hall Farm for around 20 years visiting family in the area. As a B & B it was first class and Christine's breakfast were second to none. Recently we rented the cottage and had the place to ourselves. Lovely and cosy, high standards and a fabulous kitchen to boot. Lost in beautiful countryside, the cottage is out of sight of roads and other houses except at night we could see the light of a house way over on the edge of the moor. And fresh air! So relaxing and our hosts are fabulous. Will we go back? Try and stop us!

Our family of 4 (kids 7 and 9) enjoyed our stay so much! We definitely could have done with at least a few more days. The cottage is cozy and the property is absolutely beautiful. Christine and Chris are such kind, generous hosts. Sitting on the back deck, watching the kids run about with the sheep and chickens was idyllic and just what we needed to recharge and reconnect. We happened to visit during lambing season, and our kids spent hours just playing with the lambs and exploring the farm. They were in heaven. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vacation.

We spent a lovely couple of nights at Scaife Hall Farm. Christine is a most welcoming and accommodating host. The farm itself is in a beautiful setting, and the cows and sheep add to the experience. The room was spotless, there was a generous provision of tea, coffee and biscuits, plus a communal fridge where guests can store their own refreshments. The breakfast was super, both for those who enjoy the 'full English' and those who prefer something lighter (the fresh fruit was lovely). All in all, thoroughly recommended.
