What vaccinations do you recommend for my specific travel destination?

At The Simpson Centre, we offer a range of vaccinations and our healthcare professionals can advise you on which vaccinations are recommended for your specific travel destination based on the latest guidelines. We will also provide you with a personalized vaccination plan to ensure you are fully protected for your trip.

Are your healthcare professionals certified and experienced in travel medicine?

Yes, all of our healthcare professionals are certified and experienced in travel medicine. They regularly attend training and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest guidelines and recommendations for travel health.

What other services do you offer besides vaccinations?

In addition to vaccinations, we also offer travel health consultations, advice on travel health risks and prevention, and prescriptions for travel-related medications. We can also provide you with a personalized travel health plan, including information on recommended travel health products and first aid kits.

How far in advance should I book an appointment before my trip?

We recommend booking an appointment as soon as you know your travel plans. Some vaccinations require a series of shots over several weeks, so it's best to start the process early. However, we can often accommodate last-minute appointments if necessary.

I'm incredibly impressed with the considerable improvement in every single area of the practice since their move. The new premises are spotless, lots of parking and a handy pharmacy outside. All the HCP are knowledgable and have excellent communication skills. Reception team too are approachable and efficient.

Receptionist so rude not helpful if you need a Dr you may as well call yourself dead unless you go to hospital as you won't get any help what so ever the receptionist turned my mother away when she needed antibiotics and she's 71 !! Disgusting service

Over the past four months I have had to contact the Simpson Centre on a number of occasions, normally via Klinik. I have always had a quick reply and on two occasions an emergency surgery has been arranged for me. The reception team have been pleasant and courteous and the doctors have been superb. I cannot fault the service that I have received. This is all the more commendable given the pressures on surgeries at the moment.

Truly useless. It's nigh on impossible to actually get to speak to anyone.

I had an appointment today that I had scheduled a few weeks earlier. I went to an old GP and the address is still listed in Google as the old address, so you should check the website for finding the address. I arrived 10 minutes late and they wouldn't let me see the nurse. I was so disappointed for a number of reasons. First, I didn't receive a text to confirm the date and time, which I receive for the flu jab text constantly. Normally I have to wait more than 20 minutes to see the doctor, but if you arrrive late they don’t see you so I told the receptionist I could wait or I could see the nurse after the cancelled appointment. Which She refused.she offer me to reschedule however I have to find someone to look at my baby while I have an appointment which is not comfortable and cheap .

Surprised by the bad reviews… out of all GPs I had this one is definitely the best. Always so helpful and accommodating when needed. The receptionists are amazing, so is the support team and all the doctors I’ve seen.

With wait times of ~4-5 weeks best to go elsewhere. Whenever we've tried interacting with the reception staff they are simply rude and officious, and will do whatever they can to belittle you and fob you off, and if you dare complain, they'll threaten to have you removed for 'abusive behaviour'. I am not sure how people like this keep their jobs, or at least how poor the management has to be to let things get so bad. This used to be such a good practice.

I have been going here for a while and the receptionists are appalling. 98% of the time they are so rude. They have no manners, morale or customer service skills. All the reviews on here confirm how legitimate these accusations are. The fact that no one has taken action to change the appalling service provided by receptionists, convey how much the Simpson Centre takes public experiences into consideration.

I have never had a good experience with this surgery. The receptionists on the whole are unbelievably rude, there seems to be a culture of defensive behaviour that culminates in poor service. It’s not a good experience when you or who you are supporting gets disinterest and equally poor understanding, when the person is ill. I am so disappointed with this surgery. 1 star simply because 0 doesn’t exist. I’m also sorry to see so many bad reviews, and zero action taken to improve.
