Went on a Friday night for drinks and food. Wine was served in a wine glass with lipstick stains. Staff didn't seem to care much but eventually got a new glass - wine was recycled, not replaced. Food was mediocre but pricy. One dish came out cold in the middle - clearly they hadn't run it long enough in the microwave! Sent it back and was not surprised to get the same food returned to me again - I guess they just popped it into the micro for a bit longer. Paying £15 for this in South London is a bit silly, when there is an incredible amount of good food around. This place need to up their game food and service wise... It feels like it used to be better in the past. Will get food and drinks someplace else in future.

No longer a good pub. New management I suppose, but now it’s basically a Wetherspoons with crappity food and no character. Sofas gone, art replaced with TVs, food quality is appalling. My fish and chips was more breading than fish... burgers were charred hockey pucks... chips were reheated... peas looked from a can. REALLY SAD too because this was my favorite local for the past year and I always enjoyed it. Now it’s just a sports pub. I will reach out to management to see what happened.

We went for a Sunday roast & more than half the menu wasn’t available. Had 1 meal served and the rest of us waited over an hour for the remaining orders. When the meals did come, lots of things were missing. When we asked why, we were told ‘we don’t have that’ which wasn’t pointed out when ordering or PAYING (so they are happy to take money for food you aren’t getting), other customers were also complaining. We asked for the ‘free top ups’ which took forever to come and requests for sauces were just ignored. The beef was absolutely disgusting, pure fat & gristle. It’s a shame because only 2 months ago I would’ve rated this place very highly, especially the sharing Sunday roast. If we could’ve found another venue at such late notice on a Sunday we would’ve left. It seems the new management is letting down their customers but will take your money for a substandard product. We won’t be coming back anytime soon

Avoid ordering food here. Fine for a drink but our food came out stone cold. After we made the staff aware they took it away to heat up in the microwave and it again came out cold. Staff didn’t seem to care
