    I got an appointment at this surgery today at 1954 pm under extended hour services. On my way from Gantshill I got stuck in traffic jam and reached 15 mins late for my appointment. When I entered it was completely empty so requested receptionist I understand that I am late but as there isn’t any patient, can Dr see me. He rejected it and informed as per system if 12 mins late, I have to call and rearrange it. When I insisted just check on system if there is any patient in next half an hour as extended hour is till 9pm. He checked and didn’t say anything. I requested please speak to Dr as I am not very local and I would only need 5 mins for private referral letter. He went to dr and asked if it’s possible to which she rejected and infact told off receptionist to explain me as per system I am late so she (Dr Kanwar) can’t see me. Very disappointed

    Had a miss communication with the receptionist there. Spoke with a lady that explained things to me so that I could understand what they said. The other receptionist also called me and explained again. It’s good to know that they care enough to contact you and make sure you understand some of their protocols. Thank you for explaining it all to me.

    Prescription requests are not possible in paper format or by calling the surgery. Patients must use the NHS app! The surgery blamed the pharmacy for not receiving the prescription request. Awful service.

    The receptionist can be rude and abrupt. I recently experienced being cut off by the receptionist is after holding on the phone for 30 minutes trying to get an appointment for my daughter. The phone was picked up for a few seconds then put down. I understand it can get busy but that no excuse to carry out your job role poorly

    Sadly this is my registered GP. The doctors here are amazing but the receptionist are beyond rude! Except for one lady. It’s hard to get in touch with them. No empathy at all the GP could be great if the receptionist are better trained. Calling since morning and no one is answering don’t know what to do.
