I used to moan about getting an appointment on the phone however once I got access to the online system I managed to book an appointment for the next day without any issues. The Dr I saw was very pleasant, helpful and empathetic.

This surgery has an issue with their phone system. Both myself and other family members are spending hours on hold (nearly 3 hours in total today on four attempts) to get to number one in the call queue and then be told that the surgery cannot take the call and be abruptly cut off. I know they are busy, I understand there are long wait times but this is totally unacceptable. I have raised the issue when I finally did get through and they are not interested. Please can someone resolve this technical issue because it is extremely stressful and frustrating.

Phoned 2-3 times in a row, first time the automated phone line jibbed out after trying to do the phone booking and ended up asking for an extension to dial instead of being put through to reception. Second time it rang and told me I was in a queue of "1 person" for about 4 minutes, the best bit - shortly after 4 minutes I heard someone answer the phone (I could hear background noise/talking) and immediately hang up, clearly lifted the phone off the hook to hung up on me. Third time, it just rings forever - no answer and no way of booking an automated appointment.

Everytime I walk into the surgery I experience a rude receptionist. Is being rude in their job description?
