We’ve recently moved to the area and have had dinner in the Ship on a couple of occasions. The food has been faultless both times - really tasty and great portions, and we will definitely be back. Staff are very friendly and eager to help and the whole atmosphere of the pub is really lovely. Can’t wait to try the beer garden when the weather gets better.

Very nice meal. Menu was about to change so some things not available, but what was left was more than adequate, and more importantly, was delicious! The Beef and Ale pie was a proper pie, and the veg and mash were perfect with it.

Lovely decor in this recently renovated pub. The food was nice but could do with some further work. The Sunday roast beef was more like a piece of steak balanced on some new potatoes that had been roasted. Tasted good but was a strange presentation for a Sunday classic. Also felt the staff were a little stretched to keep up with the service.
