the sheaf is a great little spot for a lunch time pint. recently went there and they'd got a new burger menu in with some nice loaded fries options. i went (no surprises) for the bacon and cheese loaded fries... they also gave us a spare portion of cheesey fries which i think got ordered by accident. was actually a mad amount of cheese on top, looked like someone was making a chips lasagna and i'm here for it. good chips imo

I had lemonade on tap. It was really nice when there weren't many people but it got super loud and the music got to unbearable levels. But I'm not a pub goer so that's really on me.

Absolute #dogsheaf burger. I'd be happier being miss-sold PPI. My slice of tomato took prime placement as the main component and happily joined the waitress in laughing at the state of the thing. Wouldn't take my dog for a sheaf in this gaff. I've seen better burgers at the neighbors bbq cooked directly over the gas can. Instagram vs Reality
