Extremely impressed by Steve's efficiency and skills. Only 2 days ago I accidentally dropped a most treasured Shun chef knife clipping its tip and I was worried a repair was not possible due to the location of the damage. I contacted Steve over the phone and he explained the repair process - which I was happy about - and on that very same day I posted my knife by first class mail. I had an email from Steve the following day, confirming delivery of my item and, within 24 hours, the repair was carried out. I cannot praise "The Sharpeners" enough. You wouldn't get this level of punctuality and care in Germany or Switzerland. Absolutely impressive! I recently took my set of Japanese kitchen knives to The Sharpeners, I am absolutely thrilled with job Steve has made of bringing them back to life and how he managed to renovate a bread knife which I thought was beyond repair. I love using my knives again now and will be returning on a regular basis to keep them in super sharp condition. Would definitely recommend The Sharpeners for anything that needs sharpening!

Excellent service and value for money. When you invest in good quality hand tools it pays to invest in their maintenance. After a quick phone call I dropped off 5 of my kitchen knives plus an open blade razor. 24 hours later they were ready to collect and as sharp as new. I found them really easy to do business with and shall return.
