This is a brilliant independent shop that caters for stitchers and needlewomen very well. It's medium sized shop and they manage to stock a really good range of fabrics with the necessary haberdashery and equipment, including a range of sewing machines. They regularly change the range of fabrics on sale and these are both contemporary and traditional so there's always plenty of choice for everyone. In addition they run classes for those who want learn how to sew or improve existing skills. Becky and Faye, who own and run the shop, are always friendly and ready to offer advice if you need it. Update I've noticed they're really broadening their range of dressmaking fabrics which suits me as I do a lot of dressmaking. I have also fairly recently bought a coverstitch machine from them after they arranged for a rep from the company to give me a demonstration. There were a few difficulties in getting hold of the rep as she was very busy but Becky kept me informed along the way. As always, a great service.
