For anyone with out of warranty/obsolete nav gear (so potentially anything 10+ years old) these guys are well worth knowing. They fixed my C70 chart plotter and brought it back to ‘as new’ functionality (charts, GPS, AIS, RADAR) and connectivity after my local guy had written it off as irreparable/obsolete, thereby saving me £000’s to upgrade all systems to new. That evil day will come but not yet! I was a little suspicious of the one off upfront fixed fee but it was all good. These people are engineers not sales people.

I have just phoned The Service Centre regarding a repair / replacement Raymarine ST60 Wind Mast Head unit. Having had the conversation with the technical department, who answered all my questions in a straight forward, honest and helpful way. They said I could probably get one cheaper on ebay, but I declined on the basis that good service deserves loyalty and good service cost money to run. I would recommend The Service Centre to anyone who has problems with their marine electronics.
