Lester and his staff are great folks and run a tidy shop. I recently stayed in the wonderful nearby Westlynne Hotel and walked down to The Secret Sandwich several times for the vegetarian breakfast and coffee. Excellent. And the lemon drizzle cake (made by a local baker) was yummy as well. Check out the retro style posters by a Mancunian artist. Stop in for a bite and a chat; you won’t be sorry!

I visited this lovely cafe, with my cousin, for the very first time after she had told me how good it is. I certainly have to agree. Super, friendly people, spotlessly clean and great appetising food at reasonable prices. Had a super time in a great atmosphere and will certainly be going again and recommending it to all of my friends. 100%

Lovely staff work here. The jacket potato with cheese beans and bacon was delicious, the ham sandwich was made with good quality ham and the latte was hot. We will definitely be back to try the breakfast thank you.
