I stumbled on The Seam and was a tad worried sending my designer clothes. BUT that is all history. They teamed me up with Camila to fix some of my much-loved designer dresses. She’s a wizard! A tear on the front bodice of my silk SImone Rocha has simply disappeared and melted away. It really is “magic.” For my other tulle Simone Rocha, Camila and I agreed on adding pearls to the tears to match the pearl collar and it looks lovely. My first batch was so successful, I’ve sent in more. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have been teamed up with someone with passion and love for what she does, incredible skill and great communication skills. I can’t wait to see what else Camila can conjure up or away.

As a tall woman buying jeans can be a nightmare. The zip on my favourite pair completely broke, and Twishika at The Seam was able to fix it perfectly - sparing me from the joys of finding jeans that fit past my ankles again. Would highly recommend, great communication, great repair and a wonderful way to ensure less clothing waste. Will be using much more in the future, hopefully to rework some old pieces too!

This is the first time I have used The Seam, but my experience was brilliant. I had a very beautiful Bottega Veneta jacket that was nibbled by moths in several places. Camile Fortune did an exquisite repair, so that it is almost impossible to see that a repair had taken place. Worth every penny. She discussed all the options with me before starting the process and let me know how things were going every step of the way. I would highly recommend her. Faultless service.

I had a tear in the shoulder of a much loved dress, making it unwearable. Camila made a fantastic repair for me. I wanted an invisible mend, or a subtle mend that would blend in well with the dress. Camila did a fantastic job and worked magic with a simple but very effective repair, and she replicated the mend so both sides of the dress look the same. The dress looks as good as new, and I look forward to wearing it many more times. Can’t recommend enough, will definitely use the Seam again!

I was recommended to use The Seam as I had a suit that I needed adjusting for a friend's wedding. Sandra Dean was great! She came to my house to measure the fit, took the suit to be adjusted and then I collected in a few days. The adjustments were great, fit well and are very neat. I would recommend!
