Got dinner from here on Wednesday evening. Friend had come all the way from Bradford to try the food after seeing the chef on Saturday Morning Kitchen. Food did not disappoint. Had Philly cheese steak, tacos, hot sriracha strips and was absolutely blown away by the flavor. Cannot fault the food, even the fries that came with the meal were spectacular. Amazing portions. Rare to find food in Birmingham anymore that isn’t just a gimmick or an insta pic. This was proper food. Only a matter of time before this restaurant becomes the next big thing!! Will definitely see me there again.

Not worth a 50 minute wait and the £25 bill. Quite a disappointment, was excited to try this place and it didn't live up to expectations. Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen but the philly steak was average, a bit too much fat in the steak which made it chewy. The fries had a bizarre fish taste which was a complete waste, one of the portions was served with the prawns so I initially thought it was that but when I tried the portion of separate fries it was exactly the same!! Don't know if it is fried together but something isn't right there. I really do hope that the owner can take this on board, you have a box of gloves but they aren't being used by all your staff. The young chap taking payment was eating and drinking whilst also touching his head and then brining the cheese slices from the back onto the small counter which is so unhygienic. The chap on the grill was wiping the surface clean with detergent and then touching the bun rolls without washing his hands. I just can't understand how the owner can allow this to happen in front of his own eyes. You have gloves right there, make the staff wear them!!! The cheese slices should also be refrigerated or at least covered. Please take these points regarding hygiene on board and sort the fries out as its very off-putting.

I wish I could give more stars but I can't. The people including the owner are lovely. For people with allergies I would say to avoid. As I was watching food being cooked I noticed they used the same surface and utensils for prawns as they did for the meat even though when ordering I did state my allergy. They said they'll take the prawns off and use a different utensil and cook the meat on the other side of the grill but this didn't include cleaning off the grill first, I was told they're won't be any cross contamination but from its cooked on the same surface juices etc will run into eachother. I therefore had to cancel my order apart from the Mac n cheese but when I got home beef that was still cooked on the same surface as the prawns was on my Mac and cheese. Therefore I couldn't eat it and wasted £10. People with allergies please be careful.

- Waited 45 mins for our food. -Ask for no cheese. Ended up with cheese on food. -Card machine wasn’t working not notified until reaching the till. - Food was abit greasy and portions could be better for the price. 3/10
