Why not pay the same or even less at get an actual, real BA (hons) degree from a well-respected acting school? The acting education is okay, nothing you can't get elsewhere. the teachers are not so nice, very aggressive. They accept anyone who has the fees as they don't have much money. It is 90-95% Scandinavian students. not recommended :(

I studied at the academy between 2015-2019, having seen some rather strange and negative reviews i figured it best to shed some light. As a student who was permanently expelled, I could easily be negative, but I can't find anything to be critical about. The training you receive here, if you adhere to it and of course, you would not attend if you was not willing to so you will, is unrivalled. It truly is the greatest approach to an Actors craft with direct links to Stanislavski's, difference is this has been tried, tested and proven time and time again. If you are not dedicated to your profession and to becoming the best you can possibly be (in terms of acting and directing at least) then yes, this place is not for you. If you think you have what it takes, you'd be putting yourself in the best position a actor in training could be in; realistically. The ultimate training and best way to utilise the academy would be the 4 year Acting/Directing course, but any time you can spend here would be nothing but beneficial for you and your career.

Very good training & performances. I have visited several times over the years to see students’ work and also attended a workshop recently. In just one weekend I learned simple, enjoyable & effective ways to create truthful, deep characters. I learned that it is not about having the right personality, aptitude or ‘natural talent’ but learning a skill. The teachers are brilliant - they are knowledgable & experienced, and are completely focussed on the students development. I highly recommend the school to anyone wanting to learn how to act, direct, or simply develop their creative or performing skills (singers, presenters, teachers etc). I’m 48 and live in Germany but will be coming to stay in London for 3 months next year so I can take a longer course.

It felt like I was being gaslighted by the school's teachers. I got unhappier and more full of self-doubt every day, and I'm happy I had the courage to leave after 2 months. Worst two months of my life. Simply not my kind of school.

Heard nothing but bad things about this place. Treating students badly, overworking them, no consideration of students well being and mental health. Manipulation, lecturers failing to act like mentors instead they act like dictators. Isolating students by what year they're in by not allowing different years to socialise together basically segregating the years. Avoid this place if you want to have your sanity. For some reason it won’t let me respond. Would you like to tell me when I apparently spoke to the owner? as I can confirm such conversations have never took place. This review may seem strange to you but pretending to actually have spoke to me is even more strange. I have heard from more than one of your former students about this farce of an academy. Thank you for your invitation to attend a workshop but I need to decline as don’t wish to compromise my mental state. I will also not be removing my review as it’s my opinion on what I have seen and heard. Thank you.
