The shop generally provide an excellent service, 5 stars! Ive been supporting this shop for several years, but today I received a shocking poor service from someone new behind the counter (Wednesday 5th April 2023 at 18:07). He made me wait, I eventually had to leave as he was so caught up in his phone conversation and he was fully aware Im waiting to be served, appalled by his attitude and service!

I finally went in after passing this place for years, a few weeks ago. I've been back for biltong a few times since. It's been my discovery of the year! Biltong is definitely NOT the stuff on sale in Tesco! If you haven't tried the real stuff yet, this place is perfect. It's not cheap (rent at Victoria station is presumably insane!) but the service is friendly and the biltong..wow! I'm actually going to South Africa in July and looking forward to seeing how Savanna compares to the stuff 'at home' !

Boerewors arrived out of date. I left 5 messages over a month period to ask what I am supposed to do with out of date food and no one replied. I spoke to all the branches who promised a manager would call. No one ever did. I will never be using them again. There is enough choice to shop elsewhere from companies that actually care about after sales care. This has happened twice previously too with this company.

I’ve been in a few times to buy different things but always find the lady behind the counter not very welcoming and in a little condescending. I tried to pay with American Express, I said no American Express, she just pointed at the sign above the machine as if to say can’t you read. :)) it’s convenient so will probably still continue to go.
