I can't praise the BVS enough. I have two double basses - neither particularly valuable, but important to me - and both had issues. One lost its neck in a nasty fall, the other had an issue with the bass bar. In both cases, the luthiers at BVS worked their magic and - importantly - did it quickly and at a very reasonable cost. My DB teacher told me he won't use anyone else and I can see why. Top marks.. and nice people too.
