The team showed up promptly each day, finished the one-week project on time, and delivered superior work. In my case I had old pine boards refinished and David found matching reclaimed boards to put in the carpeted extension. All were sanded with minimal dust, stained, and varnished. We choose David as he had restored our friends’ distressed 1960’s parquet back to its former glory. David and Claire’s passion for their work and materials was evident in every step of the process - from tireless sourcing of the right size, price and quality of engineered oak parquet despite supply issues due to the Ukraine war; through repeated visits to measure up, check on the condition of our new extension floor and deliver the blocks for acclimatisation; to the 5 long days spent laying, sanding and varnishing. Communication was excellent throughout, they were considerate, professional and tidy at all times and and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
