Hands down the best place to eat locally, and dare I say it the food is better than the Limewood. We have been coming to the Salterns quite regularly since it opened. And each time it has been better than the last. We love the fact the menu changes frequently so there's always something new to try we often order most of the menu, we love the tapas vibe they have. The food is unique, great tasting and great value for money.

Henry and Joe have worked hard over the last couple of years to make The Saltern a fantastic addition to the Lymington pub scene. Food is interesting with an emphasis on experimentation and local provenance and is very well cooked with a selection of delicious bar snacks under the "Slopp" menu in the bar area and then more refined but informal dining in the dining room. A huge selection of wine & local and craft beers is on offer.
