Seafood and wine here are exquisite. Customers service is outstanding. I had oysters, tuna sashimi, octopus doughnuts, scallops, sea bream carpaccio, wild red prawns, white wine, dessert and coffee. Outside area is beautiful with sea view plus it was a lovely sunny day… Worth travelling for from London!

When booking The Salt Room, little did we know it was just a matter of a few yards away from where we were staying, The Grand Hotel. I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in an age. The staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived to our departure 2 hours later, they effortlessly looked after our needs. Tuna, scallops and smoked mackerel were our three starters. We all chose the cod for our mains accompanied by a wonderful spread of exquisite sides. Our waiter certainly knew his stuff, choosing the most wonderful chardonnay from near Stellenbosch to match our food. The only down side was our own doing. We ordered too many sides, whilst all very tasty- we were all stuffed. Our thanks to the chefs and waiting staff for making it such a wonderful evening.

Really lovely venue with an intimate evening atmosphere and impeccable service. The food is without fault. We had oysters followed by the day's special dover sole to share and it was exquisite. Wine pairing recommendation from the server was perfect. Definitely recommend and will come back when next in Brighton.

Amazing restaurant in Brighton. The seafood platter was fresh and tasty. The desserts were also very good. Really recommend the seafood platter. It comes with fries and salads. We were 3 and ordered a seafood platter for 2 with additional sides. The platter cost 40 pp. The service was amazing. Highly recommend this place. Reservation is advised.
