If you cancel within 14 days of the class, we cannot offer a refund, but we will do our best to reschedule you for another class.

    A truly exceptional experience, on many levels. The team are highly professional but also extremely skilled. I used to run a commercial catering barbecue business but I learnt a vast amount from Christian. But his skill level extends well beyond how to use fire to cook - he has a depth of understanding and real passion for explaining the importance of balanced flavours, textures and colours. That’s actually really rare - even from “properly” trained chefs. What they’ve created extends well beyond food and fire though - set well within the woods there is a proper sensation of calm and deep connection with nature - and the people who are also attending. One of those very rare days where you can totally forget about technology, your daily worries and “breathe”. I’m very grateful to Beckie, Christian and Nick for a wonderful day.

    Salt Box never disappoints and the Foraging and Wild Pizza experience was no exception. Becky and Christian are so passionate and enthusiastic about what they do and it shines through continuously. The site is beautiful and abundant and the setting for cooking and feasting is like something from a film set. I had the loveliest, relaxed morning and a delicious lunch under the trees that I really didn't want to leave. I will be back! High recommended.

    What an awesome, fun and informative course. I was bought the Venison butchery and cooking course as a Christmas present. It was a really enjoyable experience in a fantastic setting. The team at The Salt Box makes you feel very welcome from when you arrive and they look after you throughout the day, providing lots of tasty meals, so you go home full of knowledge and food! If you are interested in outdoor cooking and working with venison, I can highly recommend the guys at The Salt Box.
