  • Hello Hi

Bit of a shambles really. I odered a Ray's Rum Punch, only to be told that it was not sold there. Why hand me a drinks menu, with drinks not sold at your establishment? The group I was in were asked if we would like any sauces, to which we replied, ketchup please. Did the ketchup ever arrive? No. After finishing our deal, it then took an age for us to pay for our meals. We were clearly finished - out plates and glasses were empty. Could a member of staff not come over and ask if everything was okay? Fortunately for us, we managed to call someone over in the end (after several failed attempts). To say that I won't be visiting again, would be an understatement.

Whoever is managing and running this restaurant clearly has delusions of adequacy. It's one of the worst restaurants I've visited - ever! Our experience went from bad to worse. First, 80% of the starters were "not available". That included the wings and cod fritters. Secondly, after a twenty-minute wait for my drink, I was told that this too was "out of stock". We waited at least half an hour for our starters and mains, only to be told: "the order had not gone through". There's one thing that a restaurant needs to be successful at and that's taking food orders from customers. They failed this most basic requirement with distinction. I'm sure the toilets reflected the food - covered in skid marks that your average monster truck would be envious of. In the end, we had no option but to walk out. This restaurant would be good for one thing only and that is to provide a case study in how NOT to run a restaurant.

Great music. A bit too loud for me as I was catching up with people I hadn't seen for a while. But would have been perfect for drink before going out. I had the chickpea curry which I enjoyed but was not blown away. My friends that tried the jerk bowl thoroughly enjoyed it. Very friendly staff. Coming over to check on us regularly for drinks and to apologise for the delay in getting our food which I hadn't even noticed. Very nice cocktails and wide range to choose from. I will definitely come back again. Really want to try the salt fish fritters and wings next time

As a business owner I was shocked at how bad the service was. The girl serving us was so rude. My worst ever dinning experience. When we complain to the manger he didn’t even apologise & didn’t seem surprised! Didn’t pay for the food but feel robbed paying for the drinks and wasting 45 mins of my time here. Avoid!
