We always stay here on our trips to London. Clean rooms, 2 minutes from DLR station, and a great breakfast. I was surprised to see some reviewers say it is in a bad neighbourhood. I have stayed here many times with young kids and have never felt unsafe. And very convenient to get into the rest of London (train + many buses)

Truly the rudest staff and an appalling place. My partner and I turned around and walked out, we found alternative accommodation. Don’t believe the positive reviews or photos, this is at best a run down care home which includes the manor of the staff. Definitely not even a 1 star hotel. Just a heads up they wanted £300 security deposit, which wasn’t a problem for us but it is just a strange request and only can be found in the terms & conditions, this allegedly will be refunded in 14 days or something like that. There one saving grace would have been the free parking but we couldn’t access it, the response we got was it was our problem.

We stayed in this hotel in April, 2023 for 2 nights, room 32, and check out with a headache due to lack of sleep. I regret that I didn't look at the reviews before we booked this hotel for 2 nights. We couldn't sleep for 2 nights due to the constant noise from outside through the old windows without any isolation/gaskets, please see the attached picture the view from window in our room. Not recommended to choose the room with a city view, they are facing very busy road and very noisy with a lot of cars and trains. We noted this to their reception, and they offered to us another room for extra £20 which was not acceptable. Also very noisy from banging doors until very late.. Someone entered our room during our absence (cleaning staff I think), we didn't expect that. We noted that out beds were re-made, and our water bottles were removed, not sure why, as this hotel provides the drinking and sparkling water to the gests. Also please be aware that you needed to authorise £100 on your card at check in for damages, it is part of their terms and conditions. Our room was very small without TV but clean and warm. Continental breakfast only. However, I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends, great location, clean, etc. but please see some of the disadvantages above and book the room with garden view.

Posting as I live on Narrow Street, right by here, and the review from 2 weeks ago said this is an unsafe area. Lol not sure what he is talking about, this is an extremely safe and upscale area with tons of history. Its right down the road from the River Thames, and the famous Thames Historic walk. And a 5 minute train rise to Canary Wharf. Police patrol regularly, and this area of Limehouse has tons of millionaires living by the water.

I booked this hotel for my trip to London. I didn't know the hotel was located in a bad area. I felt unsafe and the hotel itself is dated, with stained carpet, the decorative pillows in the room smelled like dirty sweat, and the rooms were very small where I couldn't even open my suitcases. I decided to leave after about 4 hours there. I informed the person at the front desk of my decision. The hotel refused to refund me any of my money. I personally do not recommend anyone staying here. For the price you'll pay you're better of staying in a hotel in a safer and nicer place, where you perhaps have a chance to get your money back.
