Absolutely spot on. Room was clean and comfy, staff were super helpful and friendly (checked in by Gabriel). Great location for a lovely riverside stroll into the city centre.

The stay was good but this review is about the terrible food. It is priced high (~£11 per dish), but it’s just microwaved food heated and served. We tried the Vegan burger, vegan Katsu curry and vegetable lasagna. The burger is very dry and the curry rice is a ready-to-eat with disproportionate quantity of rice and curry. I have liked the food at YHA in other locations before and had better expectations. I think it would be better if a hot water and ready to eat food store option was available instead of a pretentious menu.

Rooms: Rooms were not very clean and bathroom had issues. Water was not getting drained while taking the shower. Toilet had auto lights which would go off in a minute even when you are in the toilet and not start again which was very annoying.
