We had a good time at afternoon tea. The service was great and the food was nice but the experience just wasn’t the same as the setting we experienced at Fortnum and Masons. Really great food but for $275 with a few glasses of wine, it left us lacking a bit.

My husband and I visited The Rosebery in September of 2022, and we still discuss our experience regularly. I am a bit of an afternoon tea connoisseur, so I researched extensively the best place for afternoon tea in London during our 2 1/2 month stint in the UK. After reading many online articles and menus, we decided the fall menu looked the most interesting here and like the pastry chef really cared about flavors, textures, and creating a memorable experience. I should note that I got the gluten-free tea, and my husband ordered the normal menu. Everything was truly exceptional. All of the staff were first rate, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The food was delightful, interesting, and varied. The teas were absolutely exceptional, and I really wished my stomach was larger! I think the teas were the most aromatic and flavorful I have ever tasted. The location of the Mandarin Oriental is also superb if you are visiting London, as Knightsbridge is a nice area, and Harrod's is a quick walk away as well. We speak of this experience often and can't wait to return at some point! Thank you for a truly 5-star experience. I wish I could remember the names of each of the staff members because they were all incredible. While it is expensive, I believe it is well worth it and honestly underrated. Highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Excellent accommodations for gluten-free needs.

The scones are so fresh, the sandwiches are full of flavours, the best selections of tea, the environment is beautiful and the seatings are spacious. Most importantly the service is impeccable, felt extremely welcomed by the team and a special mention to Alessia, she is the most attentive and hospitable to make sure our experience is of the top notch! I wish her every success in her career! I would definitely come again and bring my loved ones!
