Fantastic place, been many times now and always see something that I've missed or not noticed before. Housed in the old Barracks sets that immediate feel before you first go in. Small entry fee to pay but well worth it.

The Rifles museum is absolutely bloody awesome. So much history and so well presented. Takes you through the whole RGJ history and includes bits of the 5 pillars of the Regiment well done to all involved. Just walking through the gate at Peninsula Barracks brought a straightened back to this 65 year old straight away.

Wunderbares Museum für Liebhaber der Geschichte englischer Spezialkräfte. Wir waren hier rund 5 Min. vor Öffnung des Museums und wurden freundlich "rough" als erste Besucher empfangen. Die nachfolgende persönliche Führung durch die Ausstellung durch Capt a.D. Will Fowler war überwältigend. Die Ausstellung zeigt die verschiedenen Abschnitte und Einsätze der Einheit gut gegliedert nach Jahrhundert oder Intervention der Truppe. Viele Ausstellungsgegenstände dürfen angefasst und erlebt werden. Die Schlacht um Waterloo ist sehr detailliert und grafisch untermalt verständlich erklärt.
