Excellent and attentive treatment throughout with remarkable staff. Credit to Mr Woods and his surgery team, plus the wonderful Ruth in recovery and two amazing nurses on the ward before and after surgery - Annabelle and Zoe (25th May 2023) - thank you all so much.

All the staff I encountered were absolutely fantastic. I actually saw my surgeon Mr Deo on four separate occasions which was very reassuring! Mr Deo's confidence, manner and expert skills definitely contributed to my anxiety levels being at a bare minimum. Like I previously stated all staff I encountered were superb. I would like to give the nurse Annabelle a special mention. What a lovely attentive person she is. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept me up to date at all times. A fantastic asset to Ridgeway hospital. Thanks again all!!

Whilst I was in hospital the care was amazing - the nurses, student nurse Katie, theatre nurses, consultants and the lovely lady who brought me food and coffee! Everyone was fantastic. I do however have an issue with my before care. I was automatically allocated a physiotherapist (I was unaware of this) and invited to a phonecall called Pre-0perative Woman's Health appointment. I assumed I had to do this and it was a pre-check with a consultant (particularly because my op had been put back due to me contracting Covid). My private heath insurance doesn’t cover this and so I feel that appointment should have been properly pre-positioned with me.I now have that bill to cover which I wasn’t expecting.

Everything was good. If they would keep me for 1 night. That would be better. As I had to go to emergency at the night for excessive bleeding and pain

Owners response is disappointing and standard. I fed this back to them two weeks before posting this Google review. No response until I posted this externally. All staff here brilliant save for Admissions Dept. 3 visits to my room on op day to confirm Insurance. The last of those saying that £700 payment may be requested that day. Don't know what these staff are doing in patients after admission. 3 stars deducted for each of these visits. Insurance all in tact. Hospital Admin should not be the patients' responsibility. Distressing.
