We have used both the individual working desks as well as hired a large conference room for our training day with the team and we will all be returning soon. I thought I loved working from home until I started working at The Residence! I like the freedom to choose where I work but I know I'm more productive in New Mead Barn. Obviously the free tea and cake are a draw, as is the setting (open fields and horses) but the success of this shared workspace is down to the owner, Karen. Her commitment to keeping every member happy and engaged in the environment is the closest thing I've found to the experience of working in a London-based organisation (without any of the issues with command!). The Residence offers a beautifully designed space, friendly and sociable "work colleagues" (work nights out are a thing!) and no commute. Win-Win-Win

My favourite place to work from, lovely surroundings, beautiful interior design, large bifold windows so lots of natural light coming in, friendly front of house and everything has been thought about to make it working from home feel like your back in the office (without being in an office). And the cakes are delicious!!! I’ll definitely be coming back. I got so much done and everyone was welcoming. I can’t wait to be back to hotdesk again soon.

This fantastic co-working space deserves 5 stars easily because... - the location is a tucked away gem in an uplifting landscape - the place is spacious and just has a good "vibe" if that is still ok to say - the coffee and tea facilities are great - I use the meeting rooms for leadership sessions and board meetings and they are perfect for my needs and the attendees always rate the venue very highly - Karen and her team (including Mabel her dog) couldn't be more helpful!

I had been working from home for a year or so and decided I needed a space where I could concentrate and leave work at ‘the office’. I decided to meet up with Karen who showed me around and knew it was the right space for me and my business. I started with hiring a dedicated desk and as my business grew, I was lucky enough to take on a small office space. I have never looked back. Since joining The Residence, I have taken on a member of staff who travels almost 2 hours to get to the office which speaks volumes. Having a warm, welcoming environment to work in makes such a difference to our focus, productivity and most of all, morale. Both, Sara and I, absolutely love coming into the office and seeing familiar faces who have now become friends along with the fur babies which always make the day more enjoyable. We love it here!

Absolutely amazing space! I've used it for ad hoc/daily hot-desking and quickly signed up to a membership...its just that good! Always welcomed with a friendly face, such a warm atmosphere, and the best part is I get soooo much work done at the desk. I used to work at home, but have benefited MAJORLY from the zero distractions and networking at The Residence!
