Room small and unclean. Made myself coffee on the first morning, I came back from work, and the cup was still dirty. The room hadn't been touched. I went to reception and was told we don't service the rooms and If I want clean cups I must bring the dirty ones to the reception. The waiter, a young man with a beard, I didn't get his name but he had brought me my supper and drinks in the restaurant only to see him later in the evening in the toilet and not washing his hands after. Parking is an absolute nightmare. All in all, it is a hostel, not a hotel. It was one of my worst hotel experiences. On top of this, my colleague was given a room that hadn't been serviced from the previous guest.

Food & drinks: We came for lunch on Friday and was very impressed. I have coeliacs disease so eating out is generally very difficult. The food choices were very good and because everything is cooked fresh to order by a qualified chef nothing was too much trouble. The staff recommended the Thai curry which is something I had never tried before. It was absolutely delicious, I would definitely return again to order. The meal was very good value for money, the atmosphere lovely and the Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Stayed here when visiting the race course. The location is perfect for town centre and the track. Rooms are basic but functional, breakfast was top draw, staff are welcoming and helpful, I’d stay again as represents value for money.
