Lovely little place and a really nice owner. Was charging my EV and let us use the toilets, asked if he wanted us to buy drinks and said not to worry. Had a nice chat with him whilst I waited for the family. It's a lovely little place and well worth a visit. There is also some nice walks close by. Definitely worth a visit if you are going down the M2

They don't do any beer on draught, tha garden appears to be a joinery workshop, and - despite there being no soft furnishings - the whole place somehow smells like the fleece jacket of someone who owns several dogs and disagrees with opening a window. They do have a dart board though, so two stars.
