The kitchen does not open until 12 and they were completely booked all day. You must reserve ahead if you want something from the menu. Additionally they close their bar early and the doorman was very short and dismissive with us. Go someplace else!

The Food: Pretty tasty, classic British cuisine. The steak pie was really quite great, served with a small gravy boat and a dollop of well seasoned mashed potatoes. The Service: Unfortunately, the service was downright infuriating. The waitress was immediately terse with us, answering questions with a really annoyed tone. Then, when multiple of our orders were wrong, the waitress proceeded to argue with us, insisting they were correct. After some back and forth, they relented and corrected our order, but not before making some snide remarks when we had additional questions about billing. There were other small annoyances but these were the broad strokes. I am not sure if this was just and off day for this waitress, but it absolutely ruined our meal — and we’re not a group that’s normally too concerned with excellent service. Just don’t gaslight your customers when you get (multiple) orders wrong.

Rude staff, overpriced and no hygiene. Paid £65 for 2 pies and 2 drinks, the pies came out ice cold in the centre and the staff were extremely inattentive and rude when we brought this to their attention.
