The Red Lion has reopened following a refurb. They've still got a good Guinness. They added Doombar, which is great. The Red Lion is not a hotel, nor does it serve food (beyond crisps/ nuts). Rooms: There are none.

Nice, friendly 'down to earth' pub, and dog friendly which is important to many as they are part of the family.

Since the new management took over, the pub has really gone downhill. I'm not sure they are experienced in running a pub.
