I was walking along the Thames Path and I took a detour. After passing a wetlands park I came to this lovely pub. I sampled the beer and then had the chicken and leek pie. Everything was wonderful. The service was fast and professional. The barman gave me good advice about the rest of my wandering. I thank them for this pleasant interlude.

Lovely food (we went on a Sunday and enjoyed the roast, the sticky toffee pudding was also great), really excellent service *and* parking. However, it’s on Fullers list of pubs that have a playground, which is why we went there but… no. They have a beer garden, and a pingpong table but no playground. Trying to keep a toddler occupied and stationary was a nightmare, and I’m sorry to everyone who had to sit around us and witness the chaos.

Went here a few times when visiting a friend in Barnes and wow, i wish i lived nearby. Enjoyed the Sunday roast and then lunch a few days later as well. Worth a visit for sure, and they also seem to have some fun events in the garden.
