Very dissapointed with the aftercare from the reclaimed flooring Co. We installed and enginnered Oak floor to our new build property in early 2019. We also had some new oak trim installed around a cellar hatch. I called up the reclaimed flooring co asking for some advice on a product I use to help to try match the existing foor. I wasnt looking for anything special, just something that didnt look a million miles away. I was told the reclaimed flooring co were going to create a product I could use at home and not to worry. Over the next year I periodically called, each time speaking to a different representative, there appears to be a high turnover in personell here. Each time being told we needed to be patient that Neil was working on a product for us, eventually after another call we spoke directly to Niel who told us to relax and be patient, they were still runnig tests and they would send something out to us. Fast forward a few months later, a year after the boards were installed and we contact again. This time we speak to a new manager John who tells us theres nothing they can do for us. My dealings with John were very dissapointing, he kept trying to turn the discussion around on me to blame me for defacing boards. As I said at the start, I only called for some advice and a product suggestion, what I got was a broken promise from the reclaimed flooring co. The 1 star isnt just for the aftercare, the boards were packaged and delivered very unproffessionaly, no box just a bit of plastic of the ends. some boards were also bowed on arival meaning they were very difficult to fit. I personally think you a paying for good marketing here more than anything.

Very grateful to Neil for his excellent advice & assistance when choosing the right wax & tone to turn a light & fairly inexpensive pine floor into a darker, characterful & warm shade that wouldn't look out of place in a lightly walled room when adjacent to a black kitchen. Brilliant to deal with & good value too, thanks Neil.
