I would 100% recommend The Reading Cake Company for any of your cake requirements. I have used them twice now, once for work in 2020 and most recently for my wedding this month and I can say I have not been disappointed either time. Both cakes tasted amazing and we had compliments from all our guests on the wedding and serving cake. We thought we had over ordered on the cake but we had guests taking it home because they liked it so much which meant we were left with minimal leftovers that went just as quickly the next day. Gary is also very responsive and pleasant to deal with, offering great customer service.

Absolutely superb from start to finish. The booking and taste test were so straight forward. We wanted a fuit cake to slice, so that part was an easy decision, but on the day it was so moist that I was nibbling away. We then wanted a cupcake selection and Gary makes that very difficult as they all tasted incredible. We ended up with red velvet, lemon, bakewell and sticky toffee, which was beautifully light. They all vanished with people grabbing 1 of each and hiding them, they were that tempting.

Gary made a wonderful Moana theme cake for my daughter's 5th birthday. He also baked a planet cake for her 4th birthday. The cake not only looked pretty, it was super tasty and rich. Gary also managed to fit my request in last min with some juggling around on his side. Very professional , could not ask for more.
