Went on Sunday for a celebration 75th birthday meal , 5 people including grandma and grandchild. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. The mains took over an hour. No warning about timing. We were all freezing and had to put coats on. We would have walked out but we were committed. Terrible. Went on Thursday last to give it another chance. We waited for 58 minutes for the food to arrive. 10 minutes in Q for drinks. They had no Steaks available because they had run out. A badly organised business. So sad as it is local and could be so nice. The old carvery was organised better.

We are a group of 6 friends who meet up and have lunch every 6 weeks. We were pleased with our table but there was a private function going on in another part of the pub. We ordered our food successfully but it took a very long time to arrive and when it did out of the 6 meals only 1, the lasagna was hot. We were going to complain but decided that we had waited long enough for it to arrive that we didn’t bother. None of us were happy with the food. Not with the quality or the service everything seemed dried up and cold. I’m afraid we will not be returning again and I won’t be recommending it to anyone else.
