Very yummy Sunday roast, we tidied up after long 72.2 mile walk. Lovely landlady Ginny and extremely well decorated and refurbished, and the hotel!

(Pub only, we didn't stay) Staff are friendly, decent choice of drinks. Pretty expensive for what it is, but nice outside seating area & in a lovely location. Great for a post hike pint! The food is average for the price, nothing special but nice enough. Service : 3/5 … More

£5.10 for Doombar, no other hand pull available. This is the most bog standard pint you can get so why so expensive? £2.10 for lime and soda Food was nice enough Nothing special to justify outrageous prices. I understand staff have to be paid and there are many overheads but other pubs which are just as nice or nicer manage to do it without this sort of mark up.
