Looks nice, and presents itself an upmarket cafe/restaurant, but the quality of the food was terrible. Ordered the full breakfast, the bacon was like chewing cardboard, a pile of soggy “sautéed”mushrooms, a spoon of flavourless cold beans, a depressing over cooked egg, and burnt, dry “sourdough toast” that was not only tooth-shatteringly hard, but served as a board of 5 slices for 3 people who all asked for toast individually. Small portions of bad food meant we all left still feeling hungry. Questioned the waiting staff why the food was so poor, they just blamed the chefs and said they get a lot of similar complaints. One said “I’ve tried telling the chefs that our toast is shit”. Really disappointed. Have had nice meals there in the past, don’t know if they’ve changed chefs, but I won’t be going back after that.

Excellent breakfast/brunch! We will definitely come back for more! Super friendly, lovely staff! Update May 2023: had amazing scallops, and really nice cauliflower dish that vegans would love!! Oh and the banana dessert was amazing!!
