Accessing EMDR with Dr Claire has been the best decision I have made. Sessions have included talking through unhealthy coping mechanisms and why we may turn to these, as well as developing an understanding into how we can rewire our brains to no longer rely on these and to instead use healthy strategies. EMDR itself has also been incredibly useful, not only in allowing me to process past events, but also to reflect on how I feel day-to-day. Overall my sessions with Dr Claire have allowed me to change my mindset and live more presently. I would highly recommend this service to anyone struggling with well-being, whether it be due to more complex events or even just to understand the brain and how to utilise simple strategies in everyday life.
