The pub where we were going to eat doesn't serve food on a Wednesday, so we called in here on the offchance. Lovely warm welcome, good choice on the food menu. There was only one Handpulled beer (Black Sheep), not a criticism just a fact so any real ale officionado's out there know what to expect. The food was very nice and not expensive. There is a little level camping field at the back of the pub next to the river. Be aware that the pub is very dog friendly, very, very dog friendly. I was in my element but if you are not keen on dogs it might not be the place for you. If you want somewhere to take your dog, this place is ace!

First time in a few years visiting the pub and was warmly greeted by a new owner. Food was great and to my surprise the night entertainment was awesome. Good to see their is still some rural pubs that look after their customers. Highly recommend as the kids enjoyed the park whilst me and my partner got to get time to relax ☺️
