Delicious food! Burger with pancetta and mozzarella came out at £19. Which I thought was expensive, but where isnt expensive anymore. The food came out and I was more than happy to pay that as there was plenty of food on the plate and probably one of the best tasting burgers I've eaten. If your a burger fan, give it ago! So much flavour!

I'm really torn. The food was lovely. The pub is clearly popular so there was a healthy, lovely atmosphere from what I can assume are local drinkers. There's no obvious direction for bar or dining so I'll forgive being queue jumped when we arrived. The dining area had a few empty tables, some that were finishing the end of the meal, looking at food leaving the pass there were clearly more diners upstairs. The team were clearly busy and short handed. This meant they had little to no time for interaction. They upsell a fish and chip offer on a Friday but you have to ask for the prosecco once the fish and chips are delivered. There are water glasses on the table but they don't offer water. When you order tap water, it doesn't come with the drinks order from the bar, It comes from somewhere else.... Just a little clunky. As I say, the food was lovely, we just felt more like an inconvenience than a guest.

Driving back from a morning walk along Stanage Edge with our eyes peeled to grab some pub lunch. We struck gold. 10/10 would recommend a visit the Prince of Wales for some brilliant pub grub. Black pudding for starter which was delicious, however I am told the Pea soup is stunning too. After starters, we both had fish and chips - the peas were the best we’ve ever had and the homemade tartre sauce was gorgeous. Thanks to the staff who gave an excellent service too 👍

Went for Sunday lunch after visiting Chatsworth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quite a hip and trendy place, lots of ladies wearing veja trainer! Food was awesome. Thoroughly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: This place is suitable for kids, with a great menu selection & high chairs available, however, they do only have two high chairs, so if you do require more then two, I would inform the restaurant prior. Parking: Parking is small & very limited, but there is a lot of other options available around the premises, for instance road parking.

Popped in for a pint and a glass.....super service from friendly and professional ladies front of house. If our sandwich was anything to go by then you won't be disappointed with a proper lunch or dinner here. Lovely modern atmosphere but with a nod to a traditional pub. Nice one... .
