The Potting Shed Cafe St Albans charged an extra 50p for an extra teabag when I requested a strong tea, and an extra £1 for a small jug of extra hot water to dilute an American. This is a disgrace and pure greed. Nowhere else in St Albans or anywhere else that I've been has this policy. In fact by law cafes must supply water free. This will be a professional boomerang for the company. We will not be returning neither will our family or friends. I hope others also vote with their feet. Also very noisy atmosphere.

Very busy when I came around 3pm today(16/05/23) as it was lunch time..However,I ordered a cappuccino and a squeezed orange juice. Wanting to work on my computer however they have no WiFi in the cafe potting shed . The young waitress who served me was polite and friendly but the person who made my day was Danielle the supervisor who was passing in front of my table and asked me what was the name of the perfum I was wearing;I told her.she said it was smelling very nice.her approach was very professional,friendly and I told her before I leave that she was a true brand ambassador for the potting shed cafe.
