We had an amazing time and I am definitely planning on returning! Our online booking at the last minute turned out to be a delightful experience. The plate, bowl, and money box we painted came back within a week. They look great - would recommend.

Awful experience! We visited in September and are still yet to receive the items that we painted. We have no communication from the potter box for months to then be told the kiln was broken. They requested that we picked up the items. We went along to pick up the items at the specified time to find it was closed. They then told me they were closed due to an event. I have requested a refund on the 18th March and have still not had a response.

What a lovely place. My 4-year-old son and I had such an incredible and relaxing time painting today. Thank you Pottery Box, I’m so happy we have this business in the area.

Bad service didn’t tell us on phone when booking that it would take two months to collect as website suggests 4 weeks took our £10 deposit and didn’t even offer to refund once telling us a 2month wait for items was minimum which meant we no longer wanted to paint there luckily we hadn’t started yet and the place was empty so nobody was waiting for a slot, false information provided on website. we left straight away so didn’t even use the space paid for. the £10 deposit doesn’t even get you anything at the session not even returned or taken off once paid. place was empty no customers clearly for a reason. staff seemed to be more interested in playing heavy metal music that was not apealing to listen to when working out what we were going to paint and staff seemed to bothered at all and barely spoke to us.

We had a really fun time making the pottery when we were there for my little sisters birthday with her school friends. The staff just let us do our own thing, they didn’t get too involved unless we requested it, very hands off & just sat near the back. Not a bad thing, we didn’t mind really. The day we went, we were told we’d get our pottery back in 4 weeks, which was a longer time period than originally quoted when we first enquired. 6 weeks later we’ve been told it will take another 2 weeks so 8 weeks total. Not going to be here in time for Christmas. WE had to call to find out, nobody was proactive enough to let us know about the delay. Very disappointed, especially considering how much we had to pay too…

When we paid for our items we were told we could collect within a month. Now they’re saying another 2 weeks! Called to speak to someone about it but no manager as she’s on maternity leave! They’ve had my money but I haven’t received what I’ve paid for!

Disappointed isn’t a strong enough word. 2 months ago my friend and I came to get our babies prints done as a keep sake for our husbands. 2 months later and we still have nothing to show for it. 2 months later and a multitude of ignored messages. 2 months later with numerous promised phone calls that have never materialised. The money was very quickly taken with nothing to show for it. False promises of the Managing Director calling but no calls received. Avoid Hampson Beauty Group and The Pottery Box unless you enjoy flushing money away.
