Full of drug dealers all evening, every evening. It’s not even discreet. Management make eye contact with them but don’t do anything. If you like cheap London pints surrounded by dealers and users, then come here.

Good Wetherspoon’s pub on Tower Bridge Road just south of the bridge. Six cask ales - and one cider - on handpump when I last visited including a porter and a mild. The pub's name is taken from the term for someone who pummels leather, a reference to the surrounding area's historical links to the leather trade. The very grand building which the pub now occupies was previously known as the Tower Bridge Hotel.
