Issue is that if you are sitting outside, so much as even taking a jug of water is on you, they don’t give no table service to outside tables, in the summer with many tables outside…

Really nice pub with good food and friendly staff. The Sunday roasts are amazing. The lunch menu during the week is equally mouthwatering. A really dog friendly pub too. Food & drinks: Really good food, worth a visit.

Food was ok but not great considering the price. We ordered 2 fish pie, £17.50 each, it should be called potato pie instead. I would say the dish consisted of 10% possibility fish and rest is just potatoes. We gave the feedback to the lady serving us, she kindly took 1 of the fish cake off however I still feel this is not deserving of the price £17.50. The venison sausage and burger was good, I would recommend. The service was not good, 2 course meal took far longer to be served. After our starter was taken away, we had to wait another 40 minutes for the main course. When we asked about our main course the lady at the bar attitude was extremely defensive and uncaring, the same busy excuse was used. I really don’t think we should have paid for the 10% service charge of £11.68. Finally the cutlery provided to us was not even matching, there was no side plates or butter provide with the bread. Very disappointed with the overall service and food quality. We decided to get the bill and leave straight after main course, not recommended currently till further changes are made by owner/ managers.
